Ethnic Studies Seed Grant

The Ethnic Studies Seed Grant supports exploratory research projects, partnership development, and preliminary scholarship aimed at improving how ethnic studies is taught and integrated across K–12 schooling in California. Proposals are collaborative and should involve partnering organizations, school districts, or community groups. Projects may focus on curriculum design, implementation, evaluation, community-driven instruction, teacher development, or cross-disciplinary approaches that connect ethnic studies to other subjects. The grant encourages participation from Stanford researchers across departments to support California-focused work ahead of statewide ethnic studies implementation.
