IHEP International Postdoctoral Fellowship Program

The IHEP International Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is a two-year postdoctoral appointment (with possible extension) hosted by the Institute of High Energy Physics (IHEP), Chinese Academy of Sciences. It supports outstanding early-career researchers from around the world (excluding Chinese citizens) to pursue experimental and theoretical research across IHEP core areas, including particle physics, accelerator science, detector R&D, synchrotron and neutron science, materials science, and scientific computing. Fellows receive an annual salary, a research fund, housing support or subsidy, comprehensive health insurance, and visa assistance, with access to IHEP's large-scale facilities and career development support.

Annual salary; annual research fund for travel, publication fees and computing; on-campus housing or housing subsidy; comprehensive health insurance; visa assistance for fellow and family; support for attending international conferences; priority consideration for long-term research positions at IHEP.

Open to outstanding early-career researchers of all nationalities excluding Chinese citizens. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in physics, astronomy, chemistry, or a related field (or be near completion by the start date) and demonstrate strong research potential and collaborative ability.
