Awesome Peekskill $1,000 Grant

The Awesome Peekskill Grant is a community microgrant program that awards $1,000 no-strings-attached grants to small public-facing projects that make Peekskill more connected, joyful, and alive. It supports creative, doable, and inclusive projects such as pop-up performances, murals, workshops, temporary installations, and micro-infrastructure for community creativity. Grants are awarded by a volunteer-run local chapter of the Awesome Foundation made up of trustees who pool funds to support local awesomeness. The chapter generally does not fund for-profit ventures, ongoing salaries or rent, or travel-only requests.

$1,000 grant to fund the proposed project; no-strings-attached ownership of the idea remains with the applicant.

Projects that benefit Peekskill are eligible; applicants do not have to live in Peekskill so long as the project happens in or serves the Peekskill community.
