Awesome Foundation Portland $1,000 Grant

The Awesome Foundation Portland awards a $1,000 grant every other month to a group or individual running a project that makes an impact in the Portland, Oregon area. Five finalists are selected from all applications and invited to pitch their project in person or by video call; trustees then vote and award the grant. The chapter funds projects across causes including art, culture, community, environment, animal welfare, human rights, and diversity. Preference is given to projects that demonstrate clear community impact and an ability to deliver where the $1,000 makes a difference.

Projects located in the Portland, Oregon area; the chapter will also consider ideas from other areas in Oregon. The chapter does not fund personal individual projects for rent or bills, individual education/training, or general operating funds for nonprofits.

Submit an application via the Awesome Foundation submissions portal; five finalists are chosen and invited to present (in person or by video call).
