The un Design Award

The un Design Award is an annual international design competition run by the International Competition Association (ICA) that recognises outstanding designs and innovative talent worldwide. The 2026 edition uses the theme "The Self is the World" and confers Platinum, Gold, and Silver awards across multiple categories. Entries are judged by a jury of architects, designers, curators and other design professionals on artistry, innovation, functionality, societal impact and sustainability. Results are expected to be announced on 2026-12-15.

Winners receive an electronic certificate, a winner’s logo, and online display of winning works. "Best of Year" winners in six major categories receive a free winner package; other winners may customize trophies and certificates at their own expense.

Architects, designers, developers, manufacturers and clients from all over the world may participate. Professional entries are judged against other professionals and student entries against other students.
