UNU-WIDER Visiting PhD Fellowship Programme – March 2025

The UNU-WIDER Visiting PhD Fellowship Programme invites registered doctoral students to conduct dissertation research at UNU-WIDER with access to its resources and researchers. Fellows typically spend three consecutive months at UNU-WIDER, prepare research papers, and may present a seminar; there is also potential for publication in the WIDER Working Paper Series.

Travel grant, medical insurance, monthly stipend, and potential for publishing research in the WIDER Working Paper Series.

Applicants must be enrolled in a PhD programme and able to conduct research on developing economies; early-career researchers and female candidates are particularly encouraged, and the programme is aimed at researchers at later stages of their PhD.
