Frontiers of Public Finance and State Capability 2026

Frontiers of Public Finance and State Capability 2026 is an academic conference organised by IIT Roorkee and XKDR Forum that brings together scholars, practitioners, and policymakers to discuss questions in Indian economics and public policy. The conference solicits theoretical, empirical and policy-oriented papers on public finance, state capability, fiscal policy, public service delivery, sub-national finance and related topics. It is an in-person event held at the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, IIT Roorkee.

Reimbursement of travel expenses (up to actual fare or equivalent 2AC railway fare), accommodation and meals during the conference.

Submissions are invited from scholars, practitioners, and policymakers; interdisciplinary and comparative work is encouraged.
