Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) Next Gen Internship Programme 2025

The CJID Next Gen Internship Programme offers campus journalists and Mass Communication students in Nigeria an opportunity to intern with mainstream media organisations. The programme provides mentorship, hands-on media experience, and a monthly stipend during the internship, with opportunities to publish accountability reports and gain visibility within the journalism community.

Applicants must have graduated from a tertiary institution and be awaiting NYSC, or be a Mass Communication SIWES candidate; must be available full-time for at least 3 months before NYSC or have at least 3 months available for SIWES; must have published at least 5 accountability reports on Campus Reporter; must identify a reputable media organisation in their locality and obtain contact details of the Managing Editor/Director.
