AHRC Collaborate with researchers in Luxembourg: applicant-led mode

A collaborative research grant scheme to enable arts and humanities researchers based at eligible UK organisations to work with researchers in Luxembourg. Projects must be within the remit of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) and the Fonds National de la Recherche (FNR) and support collaborative, interdisciplinary and knowledge-exchange activity. Award duration is up to four years and project full economic costs must be between £300,000 and £1.5 million. AHRC will fund 80% of the UK full economic cost and FNR will fund justified costs for Luxembourg-based researchers.

Project lead must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for AHRC funding; applications must include a project lead and at least one project co-lead. UK partners should be actively engaged in postdoctoral research, hold a doctorate or demonstrate equivalent research experience; applicants need not hold an academic post and applications are welcomed from practitioners such as archivists, curators, librarians and technicians. Luxembourg partners must be from FNR-eligible institutions.

Submit a collaborative research grant application through the UKRI funding service; include a project lead and at least one project co-lead and comply with AHRC research funding guide and eligibility requirements.
