EJN Reporting Fellowships to Produce In-depth Stories on Climate Change & the Private Sector in Bangladesh 2026

The Earth Journalism Network (EJN) through its BCMI initiative offers fellowships to selected journalists to produce in-depth reports on climate change and the private sector in Bangladesh. Fellows receive funding and mentorship support to develop and publish their stories, focusing on topics such as climate impacts on Bangladesh’s private sector, ESG rules, climate finance, and related issues.

Funding of 1,500 EUR for reporting costs and mentorship support during the story production process.

Applicants can be from Bangladesh. Groups may apply with a lead applicant responsible for communications and funds; applications can be in English or Bangla and from journalists in any medium, including freelancers.

Submit a proposal outlining the story idea and plan; proposals should align with themes such as climate change impacts on the private sector, ESG rules, climate finance, or related topics.
