Beca Descendientes de Fundadores de Pueblos Mágicos

The Beca Descendientes de Fundadores de Pueblos Mágicos is an educational sponsorship program that provides financial support for students pursuing higher education who can prove direct descent from the founding families of Mexico's Pueblos Mágicos. The grant aims to alleviate tuition and related costs while supporting continued study and community development. The program is typically promoted by state governments in collaboration with municipalities and sometimes local private partners, and requires genealogical documentation to establish eligibility.

Financial assistance for higher education costs; potential networking and cultural heritage benefits; opportunities to contribute to community development.

Eligible applicants are higher-education students (undergraduate or technical-superior university programs) who can demonstrate direct descent from the founding families of a Pueblo Mágico.

Convocations are published via state Secretaría de Turismo and Secretaría de Educación channels; applicants should monitor official portals and prepare genealogical and enrollment documents.
