M.S. Swaminathan Fellowship 2026

The M.S. Swaminathan Fellowship 2026 is a 24-month research fellowship for postgraduate researchers focusing on wetlands, coastal ecosystems, fisheries, and sustainable livelihoods. Fellows participate in mentorship, field experience, and active research to strengthen ecosystem resilience and community livelihoods, working with MSSRF scientists and partner organisations. The program supports emerging researchers through university-academic collaboration and field-based activities.

Mentorship, professional guidance, field exposure, and a 24-month research experience with MSSRF teams and field locations.

Applicants must hold a postgraduate degree in relevant fields and be between 23 and 32 years of age, with age relaxation possible for women and SC/ST candidates.
