ACT-PREP PhD & Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026

The ACT-PREP PhD & Postdoctoral Fellowships 2026 offer fully funded research fellowships for African scientists, including 15 PhD fellowships and 10 postdoctoral fellowships. The programme supports researchers from seven African countries with tuition, stipends, research funding, mentorship, and access to research networks to strengthen capacity in clinical trials and epidemic preparedness and response research.

Full or partial tuition for PhD, monthly stipend, research grant, mentorship from experts, training in clinical research and epidemic preparedness, access to trial sites and datasets, opportunities for conferences and publishing, alumni network.

National of an ACT-PREP partner country; for PhD, hold a relevant Master’s degree and be enrolled in or eligible to register for a PhD at a partner university; for Postdoctoral Fellow, hold a PhD awarded within the past five years and demonstrate a strong research record.

Submit the required application documents electronically to the ACT-PREP Secretariat before the relevant deadline (PhD Round 1 by 15 September 2026; PhD Round 2 by 30 September 2026; Postdoctoral by 30 September 2026).
