NTT Research Fellowship

The NTT Research Fellowship is a fully funded program for current PhD students pursuing full-time study in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Quantum Science & Engineering, and Physics at selected research universities. Up to two full-ride awards are granted each year to support tuition, fees, books, and supplies, with the possibility of a stipend. Applicants must be nominated by their department chair and meet program-specific enrollment criteria for Fall 2026.

Tuition and fees coverage, books and supplies, potential living stipend, opportunity for an optional internship with NTT Research.

Be a third-year (or higher) doctoral student for the Fall 2026 semester and enrolled full-time in an eligible PhD program at a listed research university; must be nominated by the Department Chair of the eligible program.

Submit an application including a complete transcript, an acceptance letter to an eligible program, and two online letters of recommendation; applications must be completed online.
