WCN'27 Travel Grants

The WCN'27 Travel Grants are awards from the International Society of Nephrology (ISN) to support attendance at the World Congress of Nephrology. Grants provide complimentary congress registration and a fixed monetary contribution toward travel and accommodation. They are targeted to ISN members residing in low- and lower-middle-income countries and give priority to members presenting abstracts and to applicants aged 40 or under. Reimbursements are paid by bank transfer after the congress upon submission of required documents.

Complimentary WCN'27 registration (courses included except one interventional nephrology course requiring separate purchase) and a fixed cash contribution toward travel and accommodation (amount varies by ISN region).

Applicants must be ISN members (Full member, Joint Group member, or ISN Trainee) residing in a low- or lower-middle-income country as defined by the World Bank. Priority is given to members presenting an abstract at WCN'27, applicants aged 40 or below (born in 1986 and after), and past/present participants of ISN training programs; current ELP members should not apply. Applicants who have received three previous ISN event grants are ineligible.

ISN members apply online via the ISN events portal; successful applicants receive a registration code and instructions for claiming reimbursement. Applicants must not register for WCN before grant approval.
