Novo Nordisk Donnelly Scholarship

The Novo Nordisk Donnelly Scholarship awards college-bound students who have been impacted by diabetes and who have demonstrated academic and tennis excellence. Awards include national and regional scholarships intended to support tuition, educational materials, and other related expenses at the recipient's chosen college or university. Scholarship funds are paid directly to the college or university. Recipients are selected based on demonstrated impact of diabetes, academic achievement, tennis performance, leadership, and community involvement.

Two national winners receive $15,000 each; ten regional winners receive $7,000 each. Funds are payable to the college or university to cover tuition, materials, and related expenses.

Applicants must show they have been impacted by diabetes, have excelled in academics and tennis, and display leadership and community involvement. Awards are for students entering a four-year college or university program.

Complete the scholarship application, including information about how diabetes has affected the applicant's life, and submit by the stated deadline; reviewers evaluate applications and select recipients based on eligibility criteria and need.
