George F. Kennan Fellowship 2024

The George F. Kennan Fellowship is a research-oriented fellowship offered to experts from policy-oriented sectors to examine political, social, economic, cultural, and historical issues in Russia, Ukraine, and the region. Fellows are based at the Wilson Center in Washington, D.C. for a three-month residency and receive a monthly stipend along with research facilities and some travel support.

Monthly stipend of $4,000; access to research facilities and computer resources; some travel support.

Open to applicants from all countries. Foreign applicants must be eligible to obtain a J-1 exchange visitor visa.
