Zale Parry Scholarship

The Zale Parry Scholarship provides financial support for individuals seeking to advance knowledge or enter professional careers in ocean exploration and related fields. The award supports academic or field work in undersea exploration, marine conservation, hyperbaric medical research, or diving technology. The scholarship includes a monetary award and a travel voucher to attend a presentation ceremony. It is awarded annually by the Academy of Underwater Arts and Sciences.

$6,000 scholarship award; $500 travel voucher to attend the Scholarship Presentation Ceremony.

Applicants must be certified divers and enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate academic program or accredited field work focused on undersea exploration, marine conservation, hyperbaric medical research, or diving equipment technology.

Prepare a resume/CV, a 500-word essay on career goals, two letters of recommendation, photocopies of diving certification card(s), and personal information; mail all materials to the specified postal address and ensure postmark by August 31.
