Resonance Programme 2026

The Resonance Programme 2026 is a three-month residency for visual artists, designers and curators based in Nigeria, organized by ART X Lagos in collaboration with the Cité internationale des arts in Paris and the Embassy of France in Nigeria / Institut Français du Nigeria. The programme aims to facilitate mobility, support research, and expand the professional network of participants within the Nigerian art scene, with a France-based mentor and professional networking opportunities.

Live-in-studio at the Marais site of the Cité internationale des arts; monthly living allowance (1,200 euros); travel to Paris covered; visa and insurance to be covered by the artist; mentorship from a France-based professional; visits and networking opportunities organized by the Cité internationale des arts.

Curators of all nationalities who live and work in Nigeria; artists of all disciplines within visual arts; and designers who can demonstrate professional commitment, experience and feasibility for the residency period.

Submit a resume (max 4 pages), a portfolio (5–20 pages), a Research Focus statement (max 3 pages), optional video link or recommendation letter, and a valid passport.
