Cynnig Caerdydd Scholarship

The Cynnig Caerdydd Scholarship is a small travel and research grant offered by Cardiff University for undergraduate students studying Welsh-medium modules. It supports academic research and immersion by funding targeted study trips related to the student's degree. Up to four awards of £500 each are made each academic year. The scholarship is intended for students enrolled on an undergraduate programme at Cardiff University who study a subject delivered in Welsh.

One-off £500 grant for a study trip; direct support for research or immersion projects; assistance with academic travel expenses.

Applicants must be enrolled on an undergraduate programme at Cardiff University, be studying a subject taught in Welsh, and must not simultaneously hold a main Coleg Cymraeg scholarship.

Complete the official Cynnig Caerdydd form in Welsh and submit it to the university's Coleg Cymraeg branch agent; applications are considered by the university awards committee.
