Fulbright Uruguay Pal Program

The Fulbright Uruguay Pal Program matches Uruguayan Fulbright alumni with incoming Fulbright Student Researchers to provide a local point of contact and support during their stay. Pals help visiting grantees adapt to life in Uruguay and answer practical questions about their residency. The programme was created to expand Fulbright Uruguay's existing mentor activities for its English Teaching Assistants.

A local mentor who assists with adaptation to life in Uruguay and helps resolve questions about the grantee's stay.

Uruguayan former Fulbright grantees serve as Pals for incoming Fulbright Student Researchers; the programme connects local alumni with visiting U.S. Fulbright Student Researchers.
