Russell Sage Foundation Summer Institutes

The Russell Sage Foundation Summer Institutes are intensive one-to-two-week residential programs on topics in the social sciences for doctoral students and early-career scholars. Institutes focus on specific research areas (for example behavioral economics, computational social science, migration methods) and include formal sessions and preparatory assignments for some participants. Most participant costs during the institute, including housing and most meals, are covered and travel expenses are reimbursed up to a set cap. The Foundation runs multiple editions and posts Requests for Proposals and applications for individual institute editions.
