Eine Straße geht ins Konzert

Eine Straße geht ins Konzert is a community cultural participation project run by Alte Oper Frankfurt in cooperation with Stiftung Polytechnische Gesellschaft. Residents of a street are invited to jointly attend concerts at the Alte Oper and to organise musical events in their neighbourhood over the course of a season. The project includes support from a project leader of the Alte Oper who accompanies the group and assists with implementing ideas. Formats range from house and courtyard concerts to musical readings and street music festivals.

Support from a project leader of the Alte Oper; invitations to concerts at the Alte Oper; assistance in organising neighbourhood musical events.

Residents of a street may apply to take part; the participating street is selected via an open call with a subsequent two-stage selection process. The selected residents organise musical activities over a season (September to July) with support from the Alte Oper.

Open application (open call) with a subsequent two-stage selection process; details and application on the Alte Oper Frankfurt website.
