Networking Events (Stiftung Charité)

The Stiftung Charité Networking Events funding supports scientific events that promote information exchange and networking among researchers previously or currently funded by the Stiftung Charité. Eligible formats include Networking-Workshops (small workshops, retreats, summer schools, discussion formats) and Networking-Symposia (symposia, specialist meetings, small conferences, forums) that increase the impact of existing or past funding. Funding typically covers event-related personnel and material costs and is awarded to the host institution as third-party funds.

Applications may be submitted by researchers of Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and its partner institutions who have been funded by the Stiftung Charité in the past or are currently funded. Applications must be submitted jointly by at least two funded persons who are not from the same organisational unit; applications from more than two funded persons are welcome.

Applicants should consult the Stiftung Charité before submission. Applications are submitted jointly by at least two funded investigators and must include applicant details and previous funding, an event concept (theme, relation to prior funding), date and format, program elements, speakers and participant information, documentation plan, organisational status and a budget. Submission is via the foundation's application procedures/portal after prior consultation.
