L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science — Czech Republic National Programme 2026

The L'Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Czech Republic National Programme 2026 awards three annual endowments to women scientists to support career development. Each edition distributes a total of 600,000 CZK split among three recipients, who may use the funds freely for direct or indirect career development. The programme targets women researchers working in Physical Sciences, Formal Sciences, Engineering and Technology, and Life and Environmental Sciences and includes media exposure and networking support for winners. The programme is run in cooperation with the Czech Commission for UNESCO and the Czech Academy of Sciences.

Cash award (portion of 600,000 CZK), media coverage and networking opportunities

Female scientists with a PhD, aged 40 or younger, with a scientific project running in the Czech Republic; applicants must be Czech nationals or foreign nationals working at least one year in Czech science.

Submit scientific papers via the Czech Republic national programme portal; call accepts applications/ nominations during the published call period and includes project evaluation and oral presentations.
