Vital Voices Aghaaz Fellowship Program 2024

The Aghaaz Fellowship Program is a fellowship initiative designed to empower and support Afghan women evacuees through partnerships with organizations in women’s leadership, peace and security, human rights, education, entrepreneurship, governance, and the rule of law. Fellows will pursue fellowships at partner NGOs, think-tanks, and universities in Washington D.C., with ongoing mentorship and networking opportunities throughout the fellowship.

Applicants must be Afghan women who have been evacuated to the U.S., with a priority for those evacuated by Vital Voices. They must be at least 18 years old, proficient in English, have a commitment to advancing women’s rights and empowerment, and be willing to collaborate with other organizations and fellows.

Submit a complete application including a personal statement, resume/CV, and at least two letters of recommendation.
