WHO/Europe Programme on Strengthening Public Health Workforce Capacity for Mental Health Promotion & Prevention 2026

The WHO/Europe Programme on Strengthening Public Health Workforce Capacity for Mental Health Promotion and Prevention 2026 is a capacity-building programme organized by WHO/Europe in collaboration with the European Public Health Association. It comprises a series of interactive webinars over six weeks (September–October 2026) and an optional one-day in-person synthesis conference in November 2026 in Bilbao, Spain. Attendance at the conference is free, but participants must cover their own travel and accommodation costs.

Accredited public health education credits (7.5 APHEA credits for the webinar series and up to 12.5 APHEA credits for webinar series plus conference), an EUPHAcademy Certificate, and opportunities for networking and collaboration across Europe.

The programme is designed for public health professionals working in policy, practice and research, and for professionals collaborating with mental health services and community settings.
