Just Tech Fellowship 2027

The Just Tech Fellowship is a one-year fellowship organized by the Social Science Research Council for researchers, artists, and practitioners working at the intersection of technology and society. It provides a substantial unrestricted award to support research, creative practice, or community-engaged work, along with mentoring, network access, and collaborative opportunities. The fellowship year runs from January 2027 through December 2027 and includes virtual gatherings and one in-person workshop.

Unrestricted award of up to $60,000, monthly virtual gatherings, individualized mentoring, one in-person workshop, potential seed funding for collaborative projects, ongoing access to the Just Tech network.

Citizens of any country may apply, but Fellows must reside in the United States for the duration of the fellowship year. There are no formal degree requirements.
