Amirana Scholarship

Emergency funding programme at Heidelberg University for international medical and dental students from the Global South, aimed at students facing sudden financial hardship or needing support in the final phase of their studies. It provides short-term financial assistance to help students remain enrolled, complete clinical training and graduate.

Applicants must be enrolled in medicine or dentistry at Heidelberg University (Heidelberg or Mannheim) and originate from Global South countries; must demonstrate temporary financial hardship due to circumstances beyond their control.
