DAAD STEM Master’s Scholarships

The DAAD STEM Master’s Scholarships support high-achieving students from developing and emerging countries to pursue Master’s degrees in Germany in mathematics, computer science, natural sciences, and engineering. The program aims to strengthen employability and innovation capacity in STEM fields. Benefits include a monthly stipend, health and liability insurance, travel allowance, study allowances, rent subsidy, and language support. The awards are tuition-free for master’s programs at German universities and last 10–24 months depending on the program length.

Applicants must be from developing or emerging countries, hold a Bachelor’s degree, not already hold a Master’s degree, apply for a tuition-free Master’s program at a German state or state-recognized university, and meet language requirements (German or English depending on program).
