Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy Fellowship

The Mo Ibrahim Foundation Academy Fellowship is a fully funded fellowship hosted at Chatham House. It invites candidates from Africa to spend ten months conducting an individual research project, participate in the institute’s leadership programme, and expand their professional network in international affairs.

Monthly stipend for living expenses; relocation costs; visa sponsorship if required; research expenses; five-year Chatham House membership; access to the Academy faculty and alumni network.

Open to citizens of any African country who hold a BA degree or equivalent and have research experience; early-to-mid career researchers from academia, NGO, business, government, civil society or media are eligible.

Stage one: complete the application. Stage two: shortlisted applicants are interviewed via Zoom; final selection and notification follow.
