FG TVET Initiative Program for Trainers

The FG TVET Initiative Program for Trainers is a Federal Government programme designed to accredit and support trainers who will deliver Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) across Nigeria. It is anchored by the National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) under the Ministry of Education. The programme empowers trainers at Skill Training Centres (STCs), Vocational Enterprise Institutions (VEIs), and Mastercraft Persons (MCPs) to train youths, grow entrepreneurship, and reduce unemployment nationwide.

₦45,000 monthly stipend per student trained; access to government funding and loans; accreditation and recognition by NBTE.

Eligible applicants include Mastercraft Persons (MCPs), Vocational Enterprise Institutions (VEIs), and Skill Training Centres (STCs).

Submit proof of CAC registration and required documents; ensure NSQ-Based Curricula compliance; submit application via the NBTE portal; await screening and accreditation confirmation.
