Tokyo University Amgen Scholars Program 2026 Summer School for Undergraduates

The Tokyo University Amgen Scholars Program offers eight weeks of biomedical research experience for undergraduate students, conducted across UTokyo’s graduate schools and institutes in Japan and Singapore. The program aims to develop knowledge and skills in basic and translational sciences, with an emphasis on preparing participants for graduate study and fostering international collaboration. It runs for the summer and covers travel, accommodation, health insurance, and a scholarship as part of a fully-funded experience.

Undergraduate students worldwide who are enrolled in a college or university and have completed their first year by the start of the program, will not graduate before the program begins, and will resume undergraduate studies for at least one semester after the program ends; also must demonstrate English proficiency and have interest in pursuing graduate studies.
