Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) Cohort 4 Fellowship

The Legislative Mentorship Initiative (LMI) Fellowship is a leadership development programme designed to equip young Nigerians with knowledge, skills, and ethics for effective participation in public service, particularly in the legislature. It combines classroom learning, hands-on field experience, mentorship, and community engagement, with residential training, internships, and virtual engagements in public institutions. The fellowship targets Nigerian youth and includes an internship placement and mentorship from experienced legislators and policymakers.

Intensive leadership and governance training; internship placements in public institutions; direct mentorship from experienced legislators and policymakers; networking opportunities with national leaders; certification upon completion of the fellowship.

Applicants must be Nigerian citizens, aged 21 to 35, and hold at least a degree or HND; they should demonstrate leadership potential, community or societal service, fluency in English, and a commitment to national development.
