Data Protection Awareness and Training Program

The program is a national initiative organized by the Federal Ministry of Youth Development (FMYD) in partnership with the Nigeria Data Protection Commission (NDPC) to equip Nigerian youths with knowledge and skills in data protection and privacy compliance. It offers in-person training at a national venue with focus areas including data protection, cybersecurity, digital rights & privacy compliance, and technology policy & law.

Free, in-person training on data protection principles; awareness of Nigeria’s Data Protection Act; networking opportunities with experts and stakeholders; possible certificates or participation acknowledgement.

Young Nigerians, particularly youth interested in data privacy, tech law and policy, ICT and cybersecurity careers.
