Funded Traineeship for Young Graduates at the EU Delegation to African Union

The funded traineeship is a placement at the EU Delegation to the African Union, lasting up to six months in 2026 within the Political, Press and Information Section. Selected trainees receive a monthly grant to cover living expenses, while all costs related to travel, visa, insurance and accommodation are the responsibility of the trainee. The program involves tasks such as supporting communications work, research on political and cooperation issues, attending meetings, drafting materials, and assisting with events and internal reporting.

Monthly living-expense grant; professional experience with the EU Delegation; exposure to diplomatic work and multilateral processes.

Master’s degree in political science, international relations, economics, law or other social studies; applicants must have less than one year of professional experience after graduation and must be fluent in English; applicants residing in Ethiopia will be considered.
