ACS Chemical Biology Young Investigator Award

An annual award honoring an individual who has had a major impact on scientific research in chemical biology and has published at least one paper in ACS Chemical Biology. It is administered jointly by the Editor-in-Chief of ACS Chemical Biology and the ACS Division of Biochemistry and Chemical Biology. The award is celebrated with a symposium of invited speakers, a cash honorarium and a plaque, and provides travel support to attend the ACS Spring Meeting. The 2027 winner will receive an honorarium, registration for ACS Spring Meeting 2027 and travel/accommodation funding to present at the symposium in their honor.

Self-nominations are welcome from researchers of any nationality in academia, industry, or national laboratories who began an independent research position within the last 10 years (time away for official leave may be subtracted). Current ACS Publications senior editors and any serving selection committee members are ineligible.
