IEEE SMC 2026 Travel Grants

Travel reimbursement grants for students and young professional authors of accepted papers to support attendance at the IEEE SMC 2026 conference. Selected applicants receive a fixed reimbursement after registering and presenting their papers. Grants are provided as reimbursements, requiring recipients to pay expenses upfront and submit proof of in-person attendance. Selection gives preference to applicants with limited resources, distant travellers, and those who did not receive a travel grant in the previous year.

A travel reimbursement grant of $600 provided after registration and presentation; reimbursement provided upon submission of required proof including an official in-person participation certificate.

Applicants must be active IEEE SMC Society members (Student/Graduate Student Members or Young Professional Members who graduated within the past 15 years), be author or co-author of a paper submitted for presentation at IEEE SMC 2026, register and attend the conference in person, and attend SMCS social events during the conference.
