Cellular Physics Summer Undergraduate Research Program

An 8-week summer undergraduate research program hosted in the Si Lab at Carnegie Mellon University's Physics Department. It supports two undergraduate students who will be mentored on experimental (microfluidics, microscopy, molecular cloning) or computational (image analysis, data mining) projects and contribute to ongoing research. The program is part of CMU Mellon College of Science’s Summer Scholarship Program and NSF REU activities and includes career development seminars, campus and city tours, networking events, and a research symposium. Participants receive a stipend to cover living expenses and travel.

$4,480 stipend; mentorship; hands-on experimental and computational training; participation in CMU MCS SSP activities including seminars, tours, networking, and a research symposium.
