ARICE Scholarship 2026/27

The ARICE Scholarship is a Romanian government-funded scholarship for international students to pursue Bachelor's, Master's and PhD studies at Romanian accredited state institutions. The programme awards 40 scholarships annually and includes a free one-year Romanian language preparatory course. The scholarship covers tuition and provides additional financial and in-kind support.

Free Romanian language prep year; full tuition coverage; monthly stipend; free accommodation; medical assistance; free local and domestic transport; no registration fee.

Open to international applicants worldwide except nationals of EU and EFTA member states; Romanian citizens, applicants who have applied for protection in Romania, and holders of long-term residence permits in Romania are not eligible. Priority is given to citizens of non-EU and non-EFTA states.
