Lyft slussarna!

A student design competition to propose future uses for the historic 1916 locks in the Trollhätte canal while preserving and highlighting their history. The task invites interdisciplinary proposals addressing cultural heritage, landscape, architecture and reuse. It is organised by Trafikverket together with Sjöfartsverket, Vänersborgs kommun, Trollhättans stad, Lilla Edets kommun and Sveriges Arkitekter. More information and submission is done via the competition's digital portal.

Open to university and college students; the competition is addressed to universitets- och högskolestudenter.
