IEEE Education Society Student Travel Award

A competitive student travel award offered by the IEEE Education Society to assist IEEE student members presenting accepted papers at IEEE EdSoc-sponsored conferences. Awards provide travel reimbursement to enable students to attend and present at conferences and to share scientific information in education engineering. No more than two students per institution are supported per year and awards are not available to postdocs, faculty or senior IEEE officers. Reimbursement is processed through IEEE financial systems.

Up to 1500 USD reimbursement covering registration fee, travel, allowance and hotel for 3 days.

Applicant must be an IEEE student member (Education Society membership is favoured), an author or co-author of an accepted paper for the respective IEEE EdSoc conference and present it in person, and be registered toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree at the time of application; awardees must submit expense reports and receipts within 45 days after the conference.

Apply online using the IEEE EdSoc application form; applicants must submit personal data, IEEE number, CV/resume, advisor supporting letter, a 100-250 word student statement, conference registration confirmation number, and an estimate of travel costs.
