Stipendia MŠMT pro cizince na akademický rok 2026/2027

Bilateral scholarship programme run by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports (MŠMT) that offers study or research stays at Czech public universities for the 2026/2027 academic year. Grants are awarded to foreign candidates nominated by authorised partner authorities in their countries under bilateral exchange agreements. Stays typically last 2 to 10 months and may be for non-degree study programmes or research visits; admission and language requirements are decided by the receiving universities.

Subsidy for educational activity paid to the receiving faculty; possible waiver of tuition if the receiving university chooses not to charge it; study or research stay at a Czech public university for typically 2–10 months.

Foreign students and graduates of higher education institutions and doctoral candidates (and in exceptional cases university research/pedagogical staff) nominated by the authorised authorities in their countries may be awarded the scholarships.

Candidates must be officially nominated by authorised partner authorities in their home countries; nominated candidates (and alternates) register in the MŠMT online registration system and submit the final application and attachments. Some countries use a one-stage procedure with immediate online registration while most use a two-stage process with initial national application to the authorised authority.
