Italian Government MAECI Scholarship 2026

The Italian Government MAECI Scholarship 2026 is offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAECI) to foreign students and Italian citizens living abroad who wish to pursue Master’s and PhD degrees at Italian public or legally recognized universities. The scholarship provides full funding, including tuition exemption, health and accident insurance, and a total stipend of 10,800 euros distributed in three installments. It covers four study schemes: Master’s Degrees, Higher Education Courses in Arts, Music, and Dance (AFAM), PhD programs, and Research projects under academic supervision.

Citizens from 141 countries are eligible. for master’s programs, applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree. Applicants must demonstrate English proficiency.
