DAAD GROW – Global Research Opportunities for the South Scholarships 2026

The DAAD GROW Scholarships fund short research stays in Germany and preparatory/cooperation visits to support development-related research projects and international collaborations. It targets early career researchers as well as established academics and scientists from OECD DAC-listed countries, primarily in Sub-Saharan Africa, with broader regional outreach to Latin America and Asia.

Monthly stipend according to academic title, health/insurance coverage, travel allowance, professional development opportunities and international cooperation arrangements.

Applications are open to doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers, university teachers and established academics and scientists from OECD DAC-listed countries, employed at a university or research institute in their home country.
