The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), with funding from the Government of Germany, has opened the Direct Beneficiary Grants under the Supporting AFR100 Programme for 2026. Grants are intended for local organizations to implement restoration and landscape restoration projects across selected African countries, with notable benefits including support for biodiversity conservation, climate resilience, and sustainable livelihoods. Eligible projects can receive funding from USD 5,000 to USD 50,000 to support practical restoration activities at the community level.
