Global Engagement Lab 6 (GEL 6)

The Global Engagement Lab (GEL) is a 9-month immersive training program for progressive funders and grantmakers aimed at transforming philanthropy from within. GEL 6 runs from September 2026 to June 2027 and combines in-person retreats, virtual workshops, and ongoing cohort engagement, focusing on organizing funders toward systemic change.

Participation in GEL 6, access to in-person retreats and virtual workshops, ongoing cohort engagement, and EDGE membership options for certain levels.

GEL 6 is designed for mid-career and senior funders or grantmakers and professionals who recognize the limitations of traditional philanthropy.

Applications are open March–April 2026; cohort selection occurs in May 2026; onboarding and preparation follow through June–August 2026.
