Empowering Young Entrepreneurs in Kenya: Apply for the GIZ Accelerator Programme for Youth-Led Businesses

This accelerator programme, run by GIZ in Kenya in collaboration with the Kenya Institute of Business Training and the Youth Enterprise Development Fund, supports youth-led enterprises to strengthen management capabilities, improve access to finance, and scale growth in key Kenyan sectors. It targets entrepreneurs in Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado, and Nairobi counties and focuses on agro-processing, leather processing, and textile value addition. Participants receive training, mentorship, and opportunities to build professional networks to facilitate sustainable business growth.

Structured training, mentorship, expanded professional networks, and improved access to finance to help scale youth-led enterprises.

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years old, operate a business less than seven years old, and run enterprises located in Kiambu, Machakos, Kajiado, or Nairobi counties in agro-processing, leather processing, or textile value addition.
