Over 100 PAID Traineeship Opportunities at the Council of the European Union

A traineeship programme offering paid placements at the Council of the European Union, with two annual periods and opportunities across policy, administration, communication, IT and more. Traineeships include a monthly net stipend, allowances and insurance, aiming to provide first-hand experience of EU institutions and processes.

Financial stipend, travel and meal allowances, insurance coverage, and access to Council facilities; hands-on work experience across policy, administration, IT and communications.

EU citizens; main programme applicants should hold a university degree, while positive action candidates should be at least in the third year of university/college; require English or French at least level C1 and knowledge of at least two EU official languages; no prior EU-institution experience beyond six weeks; no age limit for general applicants; positive action candidates must provide a disability certificate.

Applications are accepted twice a year, in February for the September start and in September for the February start.
