DW Akademie Kenya's TrustLab Incubator Programme 2025-2026

TrustLab Incubator is a three-year EU-funded programme for media organisations in Kenya, focusing on countering digital threats and developing locally relevant pilot projects. It combines workshops, ideation and prototyping, mentorship, and a prototype grant to support selected organisations. The final phase includes grants of up to €5,000 and ongoing training and support for implemented projects.

Grant funding up to €5,000, training and mentorship from domain experts, access to tools, and travel/accommodation for workshops.

Eligible applicants must be a media organisation based in Kenya, not work for any paramilitary or security organisation, be registered with the relevant Kenyan authorities, and have staff able to participate across Phases A to C.
